 Last years Garden

I spent most of yesterday planting my garden for this year.  Of course its still cold as crap out there so I have converted a spare room into my “pre-garden”.  I got some of those trays that hold like 72 seeds/plants and I planted corn, tomatos, peas, basil, cilantro, brussel sprouts, peppers and believe it or not 6 Coffee plants…  I am going to take my birthday off at work and use that day to plant everything outside.  I’ll have 3 different gardens this year, one for root veggies and watermelon.  One for corn/beans/peas/and peppers, and then one for tomatos and herbs.  Somehow doing my garden makes me feel close to my mom and Great Grandmother who always have/had big gardens.  Heck my Great Grandmother planted a garden the year she died.  She never stopped. I can believe at 92 years old, she could still do that, and I am not talking about a little garden, she always did a big one.   My mom reminds me so much of her, its amazing…she just never quits either.
