I fell in love with these cookies the minute I saw them. In the past few weeks, I have seen different versions on so many different food blogs. They are so Christmassy. I love the simplicity of the red and green coloring with the peppermint candy smashed into the top. they taste as good as they look too. I was eating them as they came out of the oven. You can use any of your sugar cookie recipes, or even any flavored cookie dough you like. Then roll in colored sugar and bake. I think even a chocolate cookie would e nice, maybe dusted in powdered sugar with the peppermint candy.
Anyways, I hope y’all love them as much as I do.
