I’ve gotten emails from some of you wondering why I am not posting anything recently.  Well the reason is this.  I am in the middle of getting a new kitchen.  I am going from a small galley style kitchen to a full fledged, stainless steel appliances, stone floor, and Island kitchen.  I am not going to know what to do with myself now that I’ll have a real cooking space.  the picture below is what Michael designed for me to have, and he is keeping it pretty much to the original design.  This whole thing was a surprise for my birthday that he is doing for me.  Am I lucky or what. 

Well once its done, and I do hope it is this weekend, I’ll post pics of the whole thing, and me cooking my first country meal in my new kitchen…..I’m thinking fried chicken, buttermilk biscuits, mashed potatoes, cornbread, sweet corn and a dried apple stack cake.  Wow, my mouth is already watering.
