Hey y’all, this is a twist on my Country Peach-Blueberry Cobbler. This one turned out great. My grandma Jean always made crisps and cobblers. They are the perfect late night snack or even dessert after dinner. Either way, they are delicious. Hope y’all enjoy.
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter (melted)
- 4 fresh sliced apples
- 1 cup blueberries (frozen if you don’t have fresh)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 cup butter
Directions:
- Pour the 1/2 cup melted butter in the 9×9 baking dish.
- Mix the flour, salt, baking powder, 1 cup of sugar, and milk together and pour into the pan holding melted butter. DON’T stir!
- Lay the apples evenly over the batter and then sprinkle blueberries over the top.
- Top evenly with the remaining 1/2 cup of sugar.
- In small bowl combine the remaining sugar, rolled oats, brown sugar and flour.
- Melt the remaining 1/4 cup butter and pour into the oats mixture and combine with a fork.
- Sprinkle over the top of the cobbler mixture.
- Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
- Of course you serve while warm and top with a big ole dip of vanilla ice cream.
