Moms Breakfast Casserole

Let’s shift our casseroles to breakfast. This is an easy sausage breakfast casserole that you can make the night before. Let me know what you think about this version and y’all enjoy.

Ingredients:
6 slices of white bread cubed
1 lb sausage
1 medium onion
1 green pepper diced
6 eggs
1 1/2 cup milk
1 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese
Salt/Pepper to taste

In a nonstick skillet, crumble the sausage and brown over medium heat.
Add onions and peppers to the sausage. Cook until sausage is brown, set aside
Place the cubed white bread in prepared 9×13 baking dish
Sprinkle sausage mixture over bread.
Wisk together the eggs and milk and pour over bread/sausage mixture.
Sprinkle the cheese over the top and cover overnight in refrigerator.
Preheat oven to 375°F and bake uncovered 40-50 minutes or until browned.
Wait 10 minutes, cut into squares and serve.
