Christmas Haystacks Candy Y’all this is one of the easiest and quickest Christmas candies you can make. Christmas Haystacks Candy can be made all year long (just ditch the sprinkles) and can be made with any kind of chip…chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, peanut butter chips or white chocolate chips. Let the kids help you put these together…they are so easy to do and you will be making Christmas memories that will last a lifetime. Let me know what you think about my version and y’all enjoy.

Haystacks:

1 (11 ounce) package butterscotch chips
½ cup creamy peanut butter
1 (10 ounce) bag chow mien noodles

Instructions
Prepare a baking sheet by lining with wax paper. Set aside.
Use the microwave and watch so you don’t burn the sugar to melt the butterscotch chips until smooth. Check every 30 seconds and stir.
Once melted, stir in the peanut butter until well combined. Add the chow mien noodles and stir gently until combined.
Drop rounded tablespoon scoops of the mixture on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with Christmas sprinkles

Allow to set for several hours, or in the fridge to set.

50 Hershey’s Kiss’s® (sugar cookie or peppermint ones)
50 Christmas M&M’s® , I used the red and green Christmas package

Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with a Silpat or parchment paper. Spread the pretzels on cookie sheet in a single layer then top each pretzel with one Hershey’s Kiss®.
Bake in preheated oven for 4 – 5 minutes, until the chocolate is shiny and soft (but NOT melting, the chocolates should still hold their shape).
Remove from oven and carefully place one M&M® in the center of each soft Kiss and press down on M&M® to spread the chocolate.
Place in the refrigerator and allow to rest until chocolate has set, about 5 – 15 minutes. Store in an airtight container.
