Y’all this is one of the simplest jams to make and you are going to love it. This is moms blackberry jam, she calls it jelly. I grew up on this and loved to pull the crust off of hot cornbread and slather it with this delicious jelly. It brings back so many childhood memories. To this day, I can’t resist coating hot cornbread crust with this amazing jelly.
8 cups blackberries
2 cups granny smith apples pureed
12 cups sugar
Cook that all down till thickened
Stir continuously while cooking
Fill clean jars, lid and water bath for 10 minutes
