Hey ya’ll, this is moms version of a Cracker Barrel® Hash Brown Casserole knockoff…it is so rich and decadent…you will love this one for sure.
- 1 large 16 ounce bag frozen shredded potatoes
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup diced yellow onion
- 2 cups sour cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar
- Mix together in large bowl, potatoes, butter and soup.
- Dice your onion and add to the mixture.
- Stir in your sour cream well to combine
- Stir in and combine the shredded cheese
- Pour into prepared baking dish
- Back at 350°F for 45 minutes until golden brown
