Air Fryer Stuffed Salmon

Once again I have found another great dish to do in my Air Fryer.  I love salmon.  I love it just about any where there is accept outside my house.  I have never found salmon in a restaurant that I have liked.  Maybe I’m just biased, but I do like my versions best.  I think you might as well.

This is a quick and easy recipe you can do in an air fryer and not worry about heating up your kitchen.

Ingredients:

  • Four 6 oz Salmon filets
  • 1 cup crab meat, pulled apart (if you can’t get fresh you can use imitation)
  • ½ bread seasoned bread crumbs
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 clove fresh garlic, minced
  • ¼ sweet onion diced
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce (optional)
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)
  • 1/4 honey
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon bourbon.
  1. Wash the salmon filets and then slice down the middle to form a pouch by opening up into a small circle
  2. Combine the crab, bread crumbs, cream cheese, garlic, onion, hot sauce and salt and pepper in a small bowl.  Try not to break up the crab meat to much.
  3. Divide and spoon the mixture into the 4 salmon pieces.
  4. Combine the honey, brown sugar and bourbon in a small bowl and set aside.
  5. Place the stuffed salmon in air fryer basket or tray in place in air fryer.
  6. Set air fryer to 400°F and cook for about 18-20 minutes
  7. Brush the honey mixture onto the salmon when there’s about 3 minutes left in cooking process.  Don’t do from beginning or it may burn.
  8. Cook till salmon is flaky and cooked through (145° internal temp).
