Once again I have found another great dish to do in my Air Fryer. I love salmon. I love it just about any where there is accept outside my house. I have never found salmon in a restaurant that I have liked. Maybe I’m just biased, but I do like my versions best. I think you might as well.
This is a quick and easy recipe you can do in an air fryer and not worry about heating up your kitchen.
Ingredients:
- Four 6 oz Salmon filets
- 1 cup crab meat, pulled apart (if you can’t get fresh you can use imitation)
- ½ bread seasoned bread crumbs
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 clove fresh garlic, minced
- ¼ sweet onion diced
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce (optional)
- Salt & pepper (to taste)
- 1/4 honey
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon bourbon.
- Wash the salmon filets and then slice down the middle to form a pouch by opening up into a small circle
- Combine the crab, bread crumbs, cream cheese, garlic, onion, hot sauce and salt and pepper in a small bowl. Try not to break up the crab meat to much.
- Divide and spoon the mixture into the 4 salmon pieces.
- Combine the honey, brown sugar and bourbon in a small bowl and set aside.
- Place the stuffed salmon in air fryer basket or tray in place in air fryer.
- Set air fryer to 400°F and cook for about 18-20 minutes
- Brush the honey mixture onto the salmon when there’s about 3 minutes left in cooking process. Don’t do from beginning or it may burn.
- Cook till salmon is flaky and cooked through (145° internal temp).
