How many of y’all run out each fall to get your pumpkin spice for the fall and holiday cooking season? How many of you dust off that container of pumpkin spice from last year and use it again this year? Why not just make enough for each years cooking fresh? It is easy to do and I bet you already have the spices in your cabinet to make it too. So grab yourself a small bowl and mix up the following spices for this years Pumpkin Spice needs.
- 5 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 2 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger.
- 1 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves.
- 1 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg.
- 1 1/4 teaspoon allspice
Stir to blend. Makes 10 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice.
