Ingredients:
1/3 cup shortening
2/3 to 3/4 cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 Tablespoon milk
2 cups AP flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 box jello

Cream shortening and sugar thoroughly, add beaten egg.
Sift dry ingredients together and add the creamed mixture.
Alternate with milk and vanilla. Mix well
Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet.
Press cookie down slightly with bottom of a glass dipped in cool water.
Sprinkle cookies with jello powder
Bake at 350°F for 6-8 minutes
