Creamy Tomato Cucumber Salad

Creamy Tomato Cucumber Salad

I grew up eating all kinds of cucumber/tomato salads in the summer. Mom made them all summer long out of the fresh veggies from our gardens. I like this one because of the tanginess from the sour cream. It goes so well with a cold sandwich or anything on the BBQ during the summer when you don’t want to heat up your kitchen. Give it a try and let me know what you think in the comments below.

Ingredients:

2 cucumbers-sliced in half moons
3 medium tomatoes cubed
1 medium onion sliced thin in half moons
1/3 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon dill weed
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
salt/pepper to taste

Mix all together well and refrigerate for at least an hour.

Serve cold
