You are going to find that this is one of the tenderest and most juicy chicken dishes ever.  Think about it, covered and dripping in a garlic butter sauce with those herbs and wine to top it off.  Such an easy dish to put together, yet this Garlic Butter Chicken will stand up to any other chicken dishes you already make.  Your friends and family will love it.

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 or 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon bails
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup white wine or chicken stock
  • 4 tablespoons butter (more if you want additional sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet.
  2. Season your chicken breasts with salt and pepper then add to the pan and saute/sear each side for 4-5 minutes.  Don’t move it around to soon or it may stick to the pan.
  3. Make sure chicken is cooked through (165°F).  Remove from the pan and set aside on small plate
  4. Now add the wine/chicken stock to the pan to deglaze and get up all those juice little morsels.  Let it boil for a minute or two.
  5. Add the butter and once melted add in the seasonings and the lemon juice, along with the garlic.
  6. Cook over medium high heat for 2-3 minutes then put chicken back in pan.
  7. Continue cooking while sauce reduce to the consistency you like.  All the while keep spooning the sauce over the chicken breasts to coat, turning once.
  8. You can cover and simmer on low to thicken sauce for additional 3-4 minutes if necessary.
