Mom’s Easy Chili

 

This is mom’s quick and easy chili.  It takes no time to pull together and you can change up the seasonings that fit your families tastes.

 

Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion – diced
2 green bell peppers diced
1/2 cup celery
1-2 tablespoons chili powder
2 cans kidney beans
1 quart tomato sauce
salt and pepper to taste

Brown the ground beef along with the peppers and onions.
Add in the chili powder and stir well to mix, cook an additional 3-4 minutes.
In large sauce pan add the beans and tomato sauce.
Mix in the ground beef mixture. Mix well and taste for salt and pepper.
Cooking for 15-30 minutes.
