Traditional Meatloaf

This is mom’s easy to make traditional meatloaf recipe. This is such an easy meatloaf recipe to throw together. And let me tell you what, the meatloaf on a sandwich the next day is in my thoughts better than the day it was cooked. So let me know what you think about this version and y’all enjoy.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 pounds ground chuck
Medium onion / diced
1/2 cup ketchup / divided
1 cup bread crumbs
2 eggs / beaten
1-2 garlic cloves / minced
2-3 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar

Combine the meat, onion, 1/4 cup of the ketchup and mix well.
Add in the bread crumbs, eggs, garlic, parsley and salt and pepper. Stir well to combine
Shape in a loaf and put in baking dish.
Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes uncovered.
While baking mix together the remaining ketchup, Worcestershire Sauce and brown sugar.
Remove from oven and coat with glaze. Return to oven and bake for an additional 30-45 minutes until done.
