Y’all mom is sharing with us a totally amazing and easy to put together broccoli salad. The different flavors and textures are outstanding in this side dish that can be an entrée by simply adding a sautéed or roasted chicken breast. Let me know what you think about her version and y’all enjoy.
- Large bag of pre-shredded cabbage/carrots (or 1 small cabbage and 2 carrots shredded)
- 1 pack Ramen® noodles (crushed)
- 2-3 cups broccoli florets
- 4 ounces sunflower seeds
- 1 cup slivered almonds
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- Ramen® season packet
- In large bowl combine the cabbage/carrots, crushed Ramen® noodles, broccoli, sunflower seeds and almonds.
- In separate smaller bowl combine remaining ingredients and whisk together.
- Pour wet mixture over the cabbage mixture and combine well
- Refrigerate at least 2-3 hours, better overnight.
