It’s finally the fall season and I am starting to make more pumpkin flavored treats. I can’t get enough of the holiday season and all the goodies it brings. Y’all give this fudge recipe a try and watch the video below for step by step directions. Happy Fall Y’all.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cup white sugar
- 2/3 cup half/half
- 2/3 cup pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie mix)
- 1 T. Pumpkin spice mix
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1 1/2 t. vanilla
- 1 bag white chocolate chips
- 7 oz. jar of marshmallow fluff
- 1 cup crushed pecans
- In a heavy bottomed pan mix together the butter, sugars, half and half, pumpkin puree, spice mix and salt. Bring to boil
- Stirring constantly over medium high heat until you reach 235°F on a candy thermometer
- Remove from heat and mix in the chips, marshmallow fluff and vanilla. Stir quickly and well to incorporate
- Fold in the pecans
- Pour into prepared 9×13 baking pan (I line mine with parchment paper)
- Cool for 2-3 hours on counter or an hour or so in the refrigerator to set up.
- Cut in squares and serve at room temperature.
- Keeps well for a few weeks in the refrigerator.
