This was one of my grandma’s favorite casseroles that mom made. It’s her version of Cracker Barrels® Hash brown Casserole. Grandma would ask for this every time she came to moms house for a visit. I know y’all gonna love this one. Let me know what you think about this version and y’all enjoy.
2 pounds frozen hash browns, slightly thawed
2 cups sour cream
1/4 cup melted butter
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
8-10 strips bacon cooked/chopped
This is one easy recipe. You just combine all the ingredients in a very large bowl.
Mix well to combine everything
Pour in a 9×13 prepared baking dish
Bake at 350°F for 60-75 minutes.
