Ground Beef & Tator Tot Casserole

This is moms latest casserole that she got from one of her old church cookbooks.  We updated it a bit and it is really good.  Y’all need to give this one a try.

Ingredients:

  • 2 pound ground beef
  • 1 can condensed mushroom soup
  • 1 can condensed cream of celery soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 can french style green beans
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese
  • salt/pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 bag of tater tots.
  1. Brown ground beef and onions and drain fat.
  2. Combine the soups, milk, green beans, sour cream and half the cheese in large bowl
  3. Add the ground beef and onions and mix well.
  4. Pour into a prepared 9×13 baking dish.
  5. Top with half the remaining cheese. Spread tater tots across top.
  6. Add remaining cheese.
  7. Place in a preheated 350F oven and bake 35-40 minutes till bubbly and tots are browned.
