Once again I am finding myself wanting to find healthier ways of making my favorite foods. Of course roasting these wonderful orbs of flavor in the oven as compared to my Paula Deen Air Fryer isn’t a big difference but why heat up an entire oven when you can do them this way. Plus I actually think they come out more caramelized and crisper with the air fryer circulating the air continuously around them.
This air fryer has been a blessing in getting my blood sugar and other numbers back into their normal range. I can’t thank Paula enough for telling me to get this wonderful appliance. So here we go folks…let me know what y’all think.
Ingredients:
- 12 Brussels sprouts, trimmed and cut in half
- 3-4 teaspoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- Sea salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
Trim off the stems and cut in half vertically. Rinse and shake dry.
In a large bowl toss with olive oil, balsamic vinegar and salt & pepper.
Now set the air fryer to 375°F.
Add prepared sprouts to basket and cook for 15 minutes. Occasionally remove and shake basket. The sprouts are done when the centers are tender and the outsides are caramelized and a bit crispy. You are not going to be able to stop eating these beauties, believe me.
